Coca-Cola: innovation and sustainability.

The company is committed to continue evolving in all its areas in order to support the company's objectives: to achieve the best quality and the best service, focusing on the client, innovation and technology, the social sphere, and, finally, efficient management.

Coca-Cola is also commitment to the environment, in this sense, Coca-Cola has specific plans to contribute in this matter. On the one hand, it is aware of the circular economy, recycling the packaging of its beverages with the aim of reducing the generation of waste. On one hand, it applies the necessary measures to reduce emissions and the carbon footprint through its commitment to renewables.

The corporation has natural springs that are located in areas of low human activity, which facilitates the conservation of aquifers. They make important actions, like replacing water to the lagoons of which it feeds after passing through its purifiers. These type of projects have a positive influence on the environment and add value to our communities with pioneering experiences.

Regarding to innovation, Coca-Cola has also launched two new bottles. One of them, called 'Slider', has become the first asymmetric glass bottle on the market. The other novelty is designed for families: a traditional one-liter capacity reusable glass bottle. This allows, in addition to the protection of the environment, to carry out a circular economy.

The Company is continuing to work toward making all of its packaging 100 per cent recyclable globally. By 2030, the Coca-Cola system also aims to make bottles with an average of 50 per cent recycled content. The objective is to set a new global standard for beverage packaging.
